Composer of the Vienna Academy of Music (University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna). Composition studies with Prof. Francis Burt, Alfred Uhl, among others, and electroacoustics with Dieter Kaufmann and Wilhelm Zobl, at the Institut of Electroacoustic and Experimental Music of Vienna. Additionally she earned a Magistra artium from the University Mozarteum-Salzburg. She is an Associate Professor in the Music Department at the Universidad de Los Andes in Bogotá, where she has taught mainly composition (acoustic-instrumental), but also electroacoustic and experimental music since 1996. She works within different formats like: mixed chamber music, as well as instrumental and vocal genres, live electronics (at the present through the KYMA system) and also leads orchestral works with the students. Her music has been performed in festivals around the World. She lives and works in Bogotá, Colombia.
